Had a cracked heater core and needed a quick fix so used this connector to connect the heater core hoses. Used this and two heater core clamps and it took me about 45 minutes to complete the job. Now I don't have heat but the car runs normal until I can put aside the 6 hours it is going to take me to replace the heater core. FYI, I live in a warm weather area so the heater is not needed. Might not be a good idea if you lie in the Northeast in the winter time.
