I bought these after having numerous problems with the overrated E3's I had in my LS1 Camaro. The car runs so much stronger and all the problems I experienced with the E3's disappeared when the AC Delco iridium plugs went in. Overall stick with these or NGK's for your LSx vehicle, they are the only ones myself and others have found that work best for these cars.

The spark plugs did what they were supposed to do. However, there was a rebate advertized for them and the store on Market street gave me the rebate form but it was not the right one and I missed out on the rebate of two dollars each. Needless to say i am not very happy with you guys.

Comments about ACDelco General Motors Original Equipment Iridium Spark Plug:
Original plugs didn't look bad for 108K but replaced anyway. Wires were stuck fast--destroyed two during removal. Just buy them too or you may be making a second parts run.

Perfect replacement part for my 5.3 Chevrolet. Perfect gap right out-of-the-box. The identical part I took out had 150,000 miles on them and actually looked okay.

Comments about ACDelco General Motors Original Equipment Iridium Spark Plug:
Replaced the OEM plugs in my 99 Silverado with the 5.3 engine at 86,000 miles. The original plug tips were gone and I was losing gas mileage plus I had a rough idle. These plugs restored my mileage and smooth engine. I haven`t had them in long, but the mileage is looking to be better than when the truck was new. I left the gap at .040 out of the box, since I read that the OEM gap of .060 was wrong for these plugs. Use anti-seize for the aluminum heads!

Advance had the best deal on these iridium spark plugs. If your chosing spark plugs, your best bet is put in a set that will last the longest. It came down to Bosch or AC Delco, I'm partial to GM so it was AC Delco for me.

Just ordered these plugs and I was wondering if they're set at .040, .060, or another gap. I recently read a GM service announcement that states iridium plugs for my 2000 GMC Sierra should be gaped at .060 and others to the regular .040. If my plugs come incorrectly gaped should I attempt to re-gap them, or switch out the awry plug(s) at my local retailer?1 answer
