Comments about NGK G Power Spark Plug:

Installed these plugs in a 2000 Audi A6 Quattro Avant. These were actually my second choice. I wanted 6 of the NGK TT plugs. They were $2.99 each vice [$] for these plugs. I placed my order online and planned to pick the items up in the store. When i got to the cart, it said I had to buy the TTs in quantity's of 4. I understand most spark plugs come packaged in packs of 4 but most all retailers understand those of us with 6 cylinders don't want to pay for 2 extra plugs we're not going to use. When I picked them up at the store they had to break up a pack to give me 6 anyway. All plugs were properly gapped and the car runs noticeably better now. It was time to replace the worn Dual electrode plugs it had. Changed these plugs along with the air filter. Reset the check engine light and the bank 2 lean code has not returned!

Comments about NGK G Power Spark Plug:

Work great in my Stage 2 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX. Local shop had installed plugs with the wrong gap which completely killed my car's performance until I was able to deduce it was the plugs. These restored full performance as far as I can tell.

                    A:

This is a common misconception, that changing spark plugs will result in a large power increase. In most cases, removing even seriously worn out spark plugs will only result in very modest power gains, typically about 1-2% of total engine output. This could be even less for computer-controlled vehicles, primarily because most newer vehicles have more powerful ignition systems and the vehicle's computer can make adjustments so that vehicle operation seems smoother and more seamless. Many people think that simply supplying more spark to the firing tip can and will combust more fuel. But most newer cars engines are so efficient that they are already burning all of the available fuel. Simply adding more spark voltage can't burn more fuel because there is no more fuel to burn. When a stock or near-stock engine is given a fresh set of spark plugs, peak efficiency is restored. The power gains that come from this restored state of tune are usually minimal.
For compatibility of this part with your vehicle, please provide your vehicle make, model and engine specification.
