sitting here at 9:15PM, store is closed, ford is disabled, tool will not release the fuel filter clip. I will walk down in the morning and get a different tool, and probably an expensive new fuel line segment, from the Ford dealer. Stay away from this tool.

Product worked without a hitch on 2004 Ford Explorer. Trick is to push it in then pull ( fuel line ) forward ( toward tool and filter )and it releases. Can't beat the price!

I work on older classic cars in my spare time.I found myself needing to replace the fuel rail and hose in a '97 Town & Country van. It was easy after I spent an hour trying to figure out how to use the tool. There were no instructions with the tool or the replacement part. After I got it straight it worked OK, but would barely fit in the spot where it needed to be used.

This tool was supposed to release quick-connect fuel line fittings on a Mazda. Clumsy tool that I could not get wedged into both sides of the quick-connect. Eventually, after much manipulation, I released the fittings. But, this inexpensive tool is definitely much more affordable than the specialized $57 one that I would never use enough to justify spending that kind of money.

I could have disconnected the fuel line without this tool...in fact, I actually did. Waste of [$]...but I guess you get what you pay for!

This tool is a piece of junk. Spend the extra $$ to buy a better one. The tolerances are terrible. Had to go back to the store and buy another one.
