Comments about BWD Fuel Injector Seal Kit:
Seals are good and correct fitment but blue cap to disperse fuel inside cylinder is extremely hard plastic and not very easy to attach to lower end of injector- broke 1 in process had to go buy 2nd kit to finish the job. probably should have soaked the blue cap in hot water to soften it to make it easier to install as you would plastic fuel line repairs.

I have one of these kit and the plastic ring is sloppy going on, wont this burn out the O ring prematurely thru the gap between the injector and the plastic ring with the heat from exploding gas on the combustion stroke? The original ring fit snug as I think this one should2 answers
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
If this injector seal kit is an exact fit, it should not burn out the O ring and the plastic ring.A:
job done! This kit will work but like I said its not the right kit for these injectors, these injectors take a type #3 pintle cap this is for type 1 & 2 and dont use the yellow spacer. if you use this kit you have to remove the end of the pintle cap to get the right flow of gas. if not it will have uneven idle. you can cut it or you can grind or sand it off but dont damage the end of the injector or its ruined. and dont put the cap on too tight, just let it touch the O-ring or you will chip the O-ring putting them back in the manifold. Would be nice to be able to Buy the cone screen at Advance also but mine did not have it. VERY IMPORTANT after you are done installing the injectors you need to let the PCM recalibrate the gas flow, let it run for 15 mins. shut it off and do it again, and DONT REV UP THE MOTOR, dont even put your foot on thr gas the whole time during the calibation the computer is reading the motor sensors reving it up will interfear with this giving it false readingsQ:
Is this a rebuild kit for the internal seals on the injector mine is leaking in the center where they go together2 answers
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
YesA:
Despite what "Parts Guru Geo" seems to think, this *is not* a kit to rebuild the internal injector seals. This kit seals the end of the injector to the intake manifold. I have never seen anyone offer any kind of internal seal kit for multi-port fuel injectors and I don't think there really are any internal seals. Most of the cut away drawings I've ever seen of injectors indicate a metal-to-metal interface where the center needle rests against the injector body.Q:
If injector is leaking instead of buying the injector y can't or can you just get the injector seal kit1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
You may be able to get away with just getting this kit.Q:

CUSTOMER CARE

CUSTOMER CARE
