I first got introduced to Marvel when I got a world war I sword that had tarnish and rust on it, but was saveable. My grandfather said put Marvel Mystery in scabbard and give it a week,just change it to keep clean every other day but let blade sit in it.I did it for month and when i took blade out,I could see tatoo on blade I didn't see before because of surface rust and tarnish.Didn't hurt on value either. He and an Older friend told me that they swear by Marvel for years on their cars.Always put it in on oil changes now.First thing I do when I buy car is change oil and put marvel in.

I added this to my oil and Now I have to buy a new motor I may have driven 20 miles before my motor broke loose I ask for something that would stop my valves from chattering until I got my oil changed I ask the service person at Auto Zone and this is what he gave me I sorry I dont think my 2007 Cobalt was ready to have a new motor this soon It did not stop the chattering and now I have to get a new motor Julie Roush

I tend to use this at every other oil change or spark plug change as a topend/piston soak. Has greatly reduced oil consumption in my Saturn with 227k miles!
On a warm engine, remove all the plugs and add a few ounces of MMO to the combustion chamber. Allow to soak overnight, then spin the engine over with plugs still removed to evacuate the cylinders, replace plugs, drive it up to temp and drive it hard then replace with new spark plugs. May take a few treatments but it does make a difference!

I have been using MMO for close to 50 years. My father always had a container in his shop, and I learned by observing to use it in any internal combustion engine.
At the end of mowing season, I store my mowers and other yard equipment by draining the crankcase and over filling with MMO. When spring rolls around, I drain the crankcase and add oil and MMO- my equipment seldom requires rebuilding and runs smoothly throughout the mowing season. The MMO is then taken to the hazardous waste center for disposal.
Oh yes- I use it in all my vehicles,both crankcase and fuel lines.

I was intrduced to MMO by my WWII vintage Air Force uncle. He asked that I continue his MMO regimen in his 1964 Oldsmobile Cutlass - 1 qt of MMO + 7 qts of oil. That 1964 olds went over 300,000 miles without an engine rebuilding; wish I still owned it. I now use MMO in my 21st Century autos. I discovered a new, to me anyway, use for MMO as a cleaner for my firearms. It is less expensive and performs, well, marvelously. I have endorsed MMO to every firearm student I have had and will continue to do so.

This part Marvel Mystery Oil Fuel Additive, 32oz., Part No. MM13R manufactured by Marvel Mystery lubricates the entire fuel system-fuel pumps, fuel injectors or carburetors and the top portion of the cylinders. These are areas, that by design, motor oil does not reach. Using Marvel Mystery Oil in your fuel extends the life of these vital components by providing them with lubrication that fuel alone does not provide. When ADDED TO ENGINE OIL : Marvel should be added to your engine oil at every oil change. In a traditional automobile engine with a 5 quart oil capacity, simply replace one of the engine oil quarts with a quart of Marvel. Marvel is also safe and effective to use with synthetic and synthetic-blend motor oils.
When ADDED TO GAS OR DIESEL: Marvel should be used in the fuel at every fill-up. Use 4 ounces for every 10 gallons of fuel.
NOTE FOR DIESEL FUEL USERS - This diesel fuel additive does not comply with federal low sulfur content requirements for use in model 2007 and newer diesel motor vehicles.Answered on 2/28/2012 by Aaron from AAP

Marvel says to add 4 oz. per 10 gallons of fuel. In your case that would mean you should add appoximately 6 oz. for a full tank of fuel.
