I have replaced front wheel bearings before and had to return the bearings because the store gave me the wrong bearing. I bought this one on-line, ordering was simple, quick and accurate infact it seemed to easy. When it come to installation, the part fit perfectly.
Before i ordered on-line i called my local store and their price waas higher than the online purchase. The discount and free shipping was a big plus. I will definately order on-line instead of going to the store.
In searching other brands the wheel studs were not included, with this part the studs were included. This saves on labor time, and ease of the installation.
the only concern is that the back side of the bearing has no seal so it is open to the mud and crud of the road. Guess thats why it's only a 3 year garantee. Bottom line i would recommend this part and will purchase more when needed.

We bought one of these using the phone due to the fact that Advance didn't send a $50 discount code on the last deal code purchase over $100 and they would only allow the discount by calling in. This was an "oversight", but why not send the code when told of the "oversight". This one was as pictured including the wiring holder on the part. It had a vinyl wire cover. The second was purchased online using another deal code. It was picked up and noted that it had a woven wire cover and black studs. It was also pointed out that it was marked as "Federal" and had a different wire holder on the part. Two stores insisted that this was the correct part with the 3 year warranty. I am not happy that the second part did not match the oem as it does not have the shouldered studs as the first did and to make matters worse the studs are a bit shorter than oem.
After all that, I can say that they have worked for the last couple of weeks, since installation. I cannot give this part an Perfect review as the 2 parts were so vastly different and were supposed to be the same. By the way, I used another deal code for the second hub purchase and have yet to see the same type of $50 on $100 purchase come to the email.

Comments about Moog Front Wheel Hub Assembly:
I bought 2 of these hubs for a 2006 Impala LTZ. Because of the Moog name, my mechanic recommenced the Moog brand over other brands. I thought the 3 year warranty was also helpful for the "just in case worse case scenario". Good thing they had the 3 year warranty because after a little over 21000 miles and being installed in 11/2011 I now have the almost worse case scenario. The left front bearing has started making a noise. Just took it to another shop and they confirmed that the left hub is going bad. Advanced Auto is exchanging out the defective hub with a new one. Great job Advanced Auto with your exchange! I am hoping that it was just a bad hub and that the right side hub won't start making a noise too. If that does, I will write about that one too with an update. Makes me wonder about Moog though. Wish they were USA made. After this, I would only recommend these because of the 3 year warranty, not because of the Moog brand any longer.

The part fit well and worked well for a little over a year. I did have to take it back under warrantee at that time. The bearing had developed a grinding noise and the wheel had about 1" of play by hand. They did honor the 3 year warrantee. Keep your receipt.

Bought this Item 7 month ago and now I had to return the item since I was having problems with the part. The only good thing about the part It was still cover by the warranty. The other bad thing had to expend again to a mechanic to replace it for the second time.

Comments about Moog Front Wheel Hub Assembly:
Buy the Moog brand as it is much better quality than the "house" Driveworks brand which is made in China. Moog has a three year warranty as well for piece of mind. You cannot beat the order online service for at leat 15 to 20 percent off as well.

Comments about Moog Front Wheel Hub Assembly:
Part fit perfactly. Problem with three mouning bolts (approximatey 2.25 inches ;ong,13MM head). GM shop manual says to use new bolts.I asked the AA store people and they did not know the size or strength of the bolt so I reused the old ones. The torque on the bolts (~96 ft pounds is hard to apply). Consider not doing it your self. Spindle requires a 1 5/6" socket,

This is a GOOD Hub. I've just had to replace a lot of them on my one Buick. They barely outlive their warranty. Maybe by 6-9 months past the warranty for me, and I'm a Casual Driver, although I do a lot of miles...30k a year.

The bearing fit without issue and has been without trouble since. However it hasn't been in use for long. If it goes quickly I will try to update this review.

easy install, shop quoted me nearly $500 buck for what I did myself on a saturday afternoon for about 1/4 of that price including buying a special socket to get the job done.

i have a 2002 cadilac dts and after installation my abs, brake, and traction control lights are all on. could this be the problem.1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
With reference to this Moog Front Wheel Hub Assembly - part# 513179, on your 2002 Cadillac DTS check the wheel speed sensors, they have been known to come loose and that's what will cause the ECU to think there is a problem, but if none of them are loose try cleaning them as well this should remove the lights. But if they don't then you would need to check with a certified mechanic for a proper diagnosis before buying and having parts installed that may not (solve/be) the problem. For any further assistance, you may also visit your nearest Advance Auto store or call us directly at 1-877-ADVANCE (238-2623) and one of our representatives there would be more than happy to assist you.Q:
I replace Left Front and Right Front Hub Assembly my ABS LIGHT IS ON.2002 CHEVY.Venture 3.4L Engine.1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
The ABS sensors are distance sensitive, they need to be close to the teeth to give a good signal. This problem may be caused if the new hub and old sensor are not a good match, or if there is some grit in there causing sensor misallignment or it's not hooked up, or the wires got stressed and broken during the new hub install. However, without the presence of your vehicle we would not be able to properly diagnose it nor provide you with a 100% answer. We would suggest that you take your vehicle to a certified mechanic for further diagnosis. For any further assistance, please feel free to call us at 1-877-238-2623 or visit your nearest Advance Auto Parts store and one of our representatives would be more than happy to assist you.Q:
2002 Impala with ABS. I need to replace the left front hub assembly. I have been told that when you replace one side it is good practice to replace both sides at the same time. Is this correct and, if so, why? Will there be a performance issue if only one side is replaced?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
It is always better to replace wheel hub assembly on both sides. But, you can replace the one that is bad if you can figure that out. Sometimes it is hard to determine, so if you can afford both do it. If one is bad the next one is not far behind. For any further assistance, please visit your nearest Advance Auto store or call us directly at 1-877-ADVANCE (238-2623) and one of our representatives there would be more than happy to assist you.Q:
