Comments about Fram Fresh Breeze Cabin Air Filter:

Very ridged and solid compared to OEM. Not sure how effective baking soda is vs non-baking soda, however it did get rid of the nasty odor in the vehicle. Out of the box, it appears dirty, however it may be due to the carbon or baking soda installed within the filter. I usually replace every 6-months. Cost is comparable to OEM. Instructions are included on how to install within package.

I noticed a nice fresh clean smell as soon as I installed this filter. I was surprozed at how efective it is. All cars should come standard with this type of cabin filter!

Advance Auto Parts does sell Made in the USA products as well as products manufactured from many other countries in order to keep our pricing competitive. Please also keep in mind that many suppliers have multiple manufacturing plants that could result in different countries of origin for the same part.

Why doesn't Advanced Auto Parts have pictures and/or video to show the location? I just wasted 1/2 hour looking at everything EXCEPT cabin filters on your "how to"page. jus' sayin' ...You are in a very competitive business by the way.

And NO i haven't read the "terms" that I'm required to check off. Real people don't read those. Tell your lawyers that's not going to protect you anyhow. Why not stand out from the crowd and make the terms, short and readable. No, I'm not angry. I like AAP and am trying to be a helpful customer :)

                  A:

                  6. To replace the cabin filter on the 2011 Odyssey, the glovebox access is different than earlier years. To drop the glovebox, you must release the damper arm. This is accomplished by first removing the retainer cover/clip which slips over the end of the rod and post (pull/slide off the end of the rod). You must then remove the door stops (2) by prying inward on the tabs inside the glovebox. The glovebox will then lower to reveal the the filter housing. Push inward on the release tabs on eaither side of the housing and slide it out. When inserting the new filter into the filter rack, be sure to place the end pleats into the slots provided. This assures that all air will go through the filter.

Usually cabin air filter is located in two places. It is either under the dash on the passenger side, or mounted on the firewall under the hood in the engine compartment. For assisting you in a better manner regarding the access to replace the cabin air filter, please provide the year, make, model and engine size of your vehicle.
