Seems like a good product.Has increased gas milage on my 1995 F150,5.0L truck by 2-3 mpg on the highway. My only beef is that the unit is made in [*].I would have paid a bit more for a made in USA model.Otherwise good value and performance for the money. Pop in replacement for the Ford coil which was rusted and deformed badly, but still working, though not at full efficiency it seems. Beware when leaving spark plugs in the 5.0L engine too long, as the plug holes tend to rust up,making removal difficult without the disaster of broken plugs. We needed to sandblast out the holes BEFORE removing plugs to allow a wrench to fit fully on the old plugs. So replace those plugs often!

Could easily make your own notches if you wanted. That is what I did but it will probably void the warranty on it.

I put this on my Ford F-150 Lightning. It sounds really good. I have only had it on for a few weeks so I can't speak towards the performance yet. It was a perfect fit & had good instructions as well. The price was right, I have spent 100+$ just for stock oem coils on a motorcycle.

Comments about MSD Ignition Street Fire Coil:
This was an easy 4 bolt, 2 plug installation. Took about 10 minutes. Engine feels stronger and I am consistantly getting .3 more MPG.

Big improvement,(old one was dead!)....makes the truck run much cleaner, much improved acceleration, smoother idle over stock. Should improve milage also.

Again, the Streetfire line maximizes quality while minimizing the hit on your wallet. Great upgrade, well worth the extra money compared to a stock replacement coil.

Comments about MSD Ignition Street Fire Coil:
This MSD Coil was well worth getting! Improved throttle response. Engine has alot more pep in it. Will accelerate faster with less throttle before part was put on. Have yet to see a MPG gain due to driving habits...Mind you my old ignition coil was old, so thats why I'm seeing quite the difference. If you were to swap this in place of a newer ignition coil or one that still worked great I don't believe you would see a huge night and day difference. Overall great product. Was disappointed to see "made in China" on the product, and for that reason I'll look towards another product thats made here in the USA.

this product worked great, i installed it on a 300ci ford and gained 2-3 horsepower, and about 1.5 miles per gallon. it is definitely a great coil at a great price.
