Worked ok with 2001 lincoln navigator, would be better if water pump pulley wrench portion had holes you could run bolts through to secure to pulley for a better bite and prevent slippage.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

          A:

          A bad fan clutch causes overheat at speed, and works fine at rest. The clutch disconnects the fan from the pulleys at speed, so it free flows and allows air to pass through easily. When bad, the fan stays engaged, which cannot spin fast enough to through air at say 50 mph, essentially acts as a block to the air, and car overheats.
