Comments about Victor Flares - 15 Min (3 Pack):
Had to replace some flares/fusees I used at an auto accident recently. I've carried flares/fusees in my vehicles for many years and have been very glad I've had them on the few occasions I've needed them. They have a long shelf life, not indefinite, but many years. The shop only stocks the 15 minute variety. I really prefer the 20 and 30 minute varieties instead of the 15 minute.

Comments about Victor Flares - 15 Min (3 Pack):
Maybe just a fluke, but on 2 different situations these fusees failed. The strike on these fusees is a cheap grit (no better than a woman's finger nail file) making them useless in serious situations because the strike grit wears off before the fusee can be ignited.

Good to have if you are in an accident or arrive at one. Had to use mine today to help direct traffic until law enforcement arrived. Watch for cast off if you wave, burned a hole in my jacket.

Yes, you can hold these. I would be very careful if you are going to use these on boats and I would not set them down anywhere in the boat.
