You stop at the dirve thue, or at a long trafic light. It's summer. All at once. Your A/C starts blowing warm air. This clutch may be your problem. I've seen it. I've FIXED it. with this vary part.

Like most product reviews this describes the vehicle design.. not the product. That said, I replaced this fan clutch in our F-450 in about 20 minutes: 4 bolts removes the clutch & fan; 4 bolts separate the two & it goes back the same way. Plenty of shroud and radiator clearance. Your vehicle may not have as much clearance. Does air blast out of the engine compartment with the hood open on your car? If not the fan clutch may be bad. Forget about turning the fan by hand... you can't tell if it is bad that way.

This Imperial Fan Clutch - Severe Duty - part# 215052 has 1 year replacement if defective as warranty. This warranty is valid for 90 days from the date of purchase or any longer warranty period that may be printed on your original sales receipt. In addition, you must be the original purchaser of the part and still own the vehicle on which it was installed. This warranty cannot be transferred to anyone at any time. Replacement parts are warranted for 90 days from the date of exchange or the remainder of the warranty period, whichever is longer. Warranty periods may vary from part to part.
