Comments about Interdynamics EZ Chill R-134a Refill with Oil, and Leak Sealer (12 oz.):
Follow directions on the can, but here are some helpful tips: Use when the ambient air temp is low (say at night) to allow easiest ingestion into the system. Otherwise, spray the condenser continuously with a cold water hose to soak off extra heat and allow more refrigerant into the system. Obviously it helps to have some assistance when using hose and simultaneously charging the system. Make sure A/C is on high and deactivate the cabin air recirculation button. Keep an eye on refrigerant level in the system. Use a filler hose with a gauge (these aren't super accurate, but they are ball-park good and adequate for the shadetree mechanic) and fill right to the highest side of the "full" range, but do not overfill. Properly installed and with the A/C system in otherwise good condition, your air should blow very cold with just one can. My 2002 Subaru Outback was blowing warm 60-plus degree air. After on can, she was down to a nice chilly 40 degrees. Stuff works great if you use it properly.

I recommend refering to a repair manual specific for your vehicle.A:
It depends on your vehicle. 1 or 2 cans is usually enough to restore a system that has stopped blowing cool air. if the system is completely empty however, you may need 4 or 5 cans, but will also need to defeat the safety system that turns the compressor off due to low pressure. May need a trip to a shop for them to do this.Q:
what kind of oil?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
It should be PAG or Ester oil.
