It's a nice and quiet pump and the lifetime warranty is a seller since all the other pumps I looked at only had a year. I'll have the car for life, so we'll see what happens.
It was pretty easy to install, but for my vehicle I had to use one of their adaptive electric supply cables and it leaves a little extra wire hanging in the tank. That kind of worries me, but having something electric in a gas tank worries me as it is, but they say even if there is a short and spark, the tank won't explode because it needs oxygen to ignite and there isn't enough in a tank or whatever. Just a phobia of mine about pumps in the tank, but I've never heard of one blowing and they've been doing it for over 20 years now...
The little "jumper" hose they give is very high quality, but also very tight, making it difficult to slide on. A little WD40 helped with that and they actually give you real normal every day (like you got 30 years ago) hose clamps! Not like those cheap plastic snap things some other pump manufactures give you. I was surprised at that, but I would have bought normal clamps if they didn't supply them anyway.
So-far so-good! We'll see how it goes from here on, and you can bet if anything happens, I'll definitely post an update!

Store only had one in stock and someone else had already scavenged a few parts and the instructions. Lucky for me the parts I needed were still in the box and with some common sense, the pump is in and the truck is running.Kit included a couple of different electrical pigtails (too long of course) metal hose clamps and a short stiff hose that was too hard to get on.

Comments about Bosch Electrical Fuel Pump Kit:
This pump was for my 1991 GMC Sononma with a 4.3l,with 166000 miles. The truck ran great in the winter time but, as the outside air temps began to climb above 80* the truck would begin to shut off at idle and became very hard to restart if at all. I checked the fuel pressure and it was below 5psi, which this TBI system is rated for 10 to 13psi. So I shopped around at all the OTHER guys and found that Advance had the best part and price, with the purchase online discount. I even had to drive a several extra miles to get this pump which I don't mind if I can get a quality part and good price. I didn't have any help to change this pump and had to do it in my driveway. Since this is my work truck, and I didn't want to drain the gas either, I used a drill and a small body saw to cut and access hole above the fuel pump sending unit assembly. I then changed out the pump and put a couple of strips of metal across the hole and rivoted the piece I had cut out, then put the bedliner back in place. Quick note, the day after changing this pump I started smelling fumes, I found with the pump making the correct pressure the lines at the front of the truck were leaking, a couple of turns on the clamps and it was good to go. So make sure you check the fuel system front to back for leaks after you install the pump, and a installing a new fuel filter at this time would also be a good idea.

Comments about Bosch Electrical Fuel Pump Kit:
on the advance site it describes this product as fitting an 89 GMC, but what it does not warn you about is that it does not fit all sending units.Im sure the Bosch Brand is excellent but it may only fit their type of sending unit.

I have a 1994 G20 with a 350 cid. the vehicle has been well maintained and has only 122,000 miles on it. the original fuel pump went out last july and seeing the lifetime warranty i went with it. only read good reviews and installed the pump. 4 months to the day 7/25/12 to 11/25/12 the pump failed. put another one in on 11/27/12 and on 2/27/13 it the second one failed. i am fed up!!! would not recommend to anyone.

Got this pump to install on a 1995 Chevy C1500 VIN K (TBI) 5.7l engine.
Has all types of connectors and various pieces included in box to use on various types of vehicles.
Missing were any installation instructions. I've done several fuel pump installations so this was no problem for me, but for some not familiar, this could have caused some problem.
After installation, truck started and has run great the past 2 weeks.

Comments about Bosch Electrical Fuel Pump Kit:
it is a great pump and i would much rather have this one than airtex. the only thing i had a problem with was the rubber line it comes with deteriorating. however, bosch covered it and sent a new pump strait to my door after i called asking about the lines. i know airtex lines are known for this, but it seems like i just got a bad line. 6 months on the new line, and im having no issues what so ever with this pump. it also unlike the airtex, puts out the proper 13psi for my tbi, rather than the just cutting it 9-10 psi airtex likes to give us. also holds up well to being run below 1/4 tank. unlike the airtex.. yes i despire airtex and their poor products.
