Comments about Airtex Electric Fuel Pump:
I installed this fuel pump about 3 weeks ago and it's working great so far. It came with all the hardware you need and was a very simple install once I got the tank out of the truck. So far, a good product for the price. I'd recommend.

i have a 92 f150 super cab v8 auto. it keeps stalling out. i want to change the fuel pump but i here that it has one for each tank and a third located under drivers door. is this true, and do you think this would fix my problem?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
If you have only one tank there are 2 fuel pumps, one in the tank and a high pressure on the frame rail. Two tanks, 3 fuel pumps, one in each tank and the high pressure on the frame rail. Usually located under the cab on the drivers side, unless someone has moved it. This allows the pump to build the high pressure needed by the fuel injection system installed on the most recent F-150 gasoline engine models. However, fuel pressure may fail to build up after the pump internal components wear out. You may have difficulty starting the engine, the engine may suddenly stall or not start at all. If these scenarios apply to you, it is time to replace the pump. Detach the splash shield from the frame rail located underneath the driver's side door. Unplug the electrical connector you will see after removing the splash shield. The connector leads to the fuel pump moduleQ:
