Occasional erratic/low idle in my 03 Acura TL-S was solved by replacing the OEM EGR valve with this new BWD replacement, which is made in the USA!
The car now runs smoothly and no more low idle issues. This replacement also includes a HD EGR gasket so you will not need to order one separately. Replacing this was easy and took only 5 minutes.

This fixed the issue in my V-6 Accord getting a check engine light for insufficient EGR lift. It took all of 20 minutes to install and the CEL hasn't come back on so far.

Great product!! This fixed error code P1491 on Honda Pilot 2003 for which dealer and other repair shops asked over $400.00.
What I would like to see is a suggestion for "wrench" number 11, which is needed to open the nuts holding the valve. I wasted over 4 hours trying to figure out the right tool to open this.

With reference to your inquiry on this BWD/Intermotor EGR Valve (Part No. EGR1433), the EGR valve is located on top of the intake manifold on your 2005 Honda Odyssey. The failure EGR valve is the reason for rough idle and random misfires. For help with your EGR valve installation, I recommend purchasing a Haynes repair manual specifically for your vehicle. For the 3.0L accord, this is accessed and visible on the top of the engine, toward the driver's side, just in front of the throttle body. It also sits with the connector on top, unlike the pic here.Answered on 7/29/2012 by scuzzer1 from South Bend, IN
