Comments about Peak Easy Going -50 RV Antifreeze (1 Gallon):
I bought this to winterize an express cruiser boat, so I needed it for water system, generator, air conditioner and engines. Obviously, it did the job. However I noticed *after* using it and just glancing at the ingredients that it did not offer any "rust inhibitors". I had a bottle from last year, different brand, that did offer "proprietary" rust inhibitors. So...I would have rather had something for the engines that offered some rust protection.

Q:
can your rv antifreeze be used in an outdoor wood boiler to treat water that flows thru pex pipe, brass fittings and an aluminum coil? if so how many gallons would be needed to achieve 0 degree in a 360 gallon system? thanks,wayne1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
No, I am sorry. The Peak Easy Going -50 RV Antifreeze (1 Gallon) - Part No. PER0A3 or any kind of automotive antifreeze is not recommended to use with outdoor wood boiler. Insurance companies often specifically preclude the use of antifreeze and rust inhibitors in outdoor boilers, because of the extremely serious issue of polluting groundwater for generations. Such a spill would reduce property values and attract serious fines among other peripheral issues. Does this product have corrosion inhibitors? Thanks.1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
A non toxic corrosion inhibitor such as Di-Potassium Phosphate is used in fact it is the only corrosion inhibitor found in most RV/Marine antifreeze. Also, since RV/Marine antifreeze is intended to be flushed out seasonally, the corrosion inhibitors are not designed for long-term protection.
