Comments about Valvoline DuraBlend DuraBlend 80W-90 Gear Oil:

This is good gear oil. Was a little concerned about which brand I should use in my 2002 GMC Sonoma 4x4 but this was just fine for the rear diff. Put about a thousand miles on it so far and no issues.

My 2005 Mazda Tribute calls for 80w90 gl-5 conventional gear oil. Will this product work/match correctly to meet OEM specs? Will it hurt to upgrade to a synthetic gear oil for upkeep on a daily driver that's driven conservitively?

For a 2007 Kia Sorento EX (4WD) rear limited slip differential the manual recommends an SAE 85W-90 gear oil. Since 85W-90 is practically impossible to find will a 80W-90 or a 75W-90 gear oil work fine?
