Tru-Torque Drum Brake Wheel Cylinder

Part No. W37785 Warranty

See if this part fits a specific vehicle.

Check Vehicle Fit

Direct replacement Wheel Cylinders are designed to fit specific vehicle applications and to ensure a proper fit every time. Normal wear may cause piston seals to leak. Corrosion and pitting can also occur inside Wheel Cylinders as moisture builds up in the brake fluid. A leaky Wheel Cylinder can be dangerous to the driver, causing gradual softening of the brake pedal and creating brake pull to one side.

Product Features:
  • All Wheel Cylinders are made with high quality EPDM rubber cups and boots for long lasting performance
  • Wheel Cylinder bores are surface tested to ensure an optimum sealing surface for the pressure cups
  • Due to repair time and cost, it is more desirable to replace instead of repair Wheel Cylinders
  • Recommended replacement is suggested when servicing drum brake

Comments about Tru-Torque Drum Brake Wheel Cylinder:

It's a new wheel cylinder, which doesn't get much more simple than that. No need to spend $30+ a piece on wheel cylinders when you can buy these for around $13 +/- a piece. I found this product to be a direct and perfect fit replacement part. Just swap them out with the appropriate tools, bleed the brakes and you're done!

not perfect fit, edge of casting where mounting bolts install are slightly larger than original and cause difficulties to get part into place.. My fix was a quick bevel of this edge on the grinder...

Comments about Tru-Torque Drum Brake Wheel Cylinder:

Drum brakes are a pain to start with ! Do your self a favor get some good brake cleaner spray, good shoes, cylinders, drums and don't forget the hardware. That way is done correctly and you don't have to worry on doing it all over again. Also get a good set of brake line wrenches and spring pliers it will make your job a lot easier.
