Great price for some needed harware!
Worked great in a pinch! I did not use all the harware, only the stuff i needed for a 82 Caprice on the rear drums (9.5x2 shoes)

Kit does not have all needed parts!
CAUTION: This kit does not include enough springs to install both rear brakes! It also does not have the wavy washers for the parking brake lever.

CAUTION: This kit does not include enough springs to install both rear brakes! It also does not have the wavy washers for the parking brake lever.
The kit is missing one set of the hold-down springs. It is also missing the 'wave' washers that live between the parking brake lever and the rear shoe.
If you replace the "E-clip" that holds the parking brake lever onto the rear shoe, don't lose the wave washer that lives in between the two.
I'd think that the kit should also include a small tube of grease, for those of us who are "weekend mechanics"...
My store was kind enough to give me the needed springs -- yours should be helpful as well.
Someone at Advance's head office should have noticed this problem by now, as I'm not the only person who has commented on this problem.

missing 2 springs to hold 1 pad on each side in place. Had to buy another complete kit to get them as the spring itself had been discontinued!

This kit didn't include the spring's between shoe & self adjuster arm,#@% which I needed one, So I used old smaller shoe retainer spring in it's place, Seem's to be same tension just wider,should work well. My starwheel spring's however are red & white but identical, Not for the driver side luckily my original was still o.k. Personally I have never known these self adjuster's to ever work...Generally I manually adjust them every year or so....

This product does not contain left and right adjuster springs (white and red respectively) It contains two blue springs which are identical and are not supposed to be used on my GM vehicle for the self-adjuster. I have bought hardware kits before that provide the correct left and right springs that are correctly wound in order to clear the adjuster star-wheel, however this kit does not.

A:
The kit is *supposed* to have enough parts for both wheels.
However, it is missing a set of the brake shoe hold-down springs, as well as the little wave-washers for the parking brake levers.
