purchased this item tonight,and after about 2 hours,and over a foot of brake line,i never got a good flare,from this tool(lol).Every flare was at an angle,tubing sliped,can't tighten down.What a waste of my time and money,will try and take back in the morning.I all ready know the answer to this,you used the tool and got what you needed,and just want your money back.

3/16 adapter broke on second flare. Brake line was filed on both edges before flare was attempted. The adapters are cheap and the holes in the line-holding jig are far from square. Beware of this cheap item. Not worth [$]!

Searching for some part information for the set listed below:
Part # AC586 - Autocraft Double Flaring Tool Set.
By design, in regards to the YOKE assembly. Is there suppose to be a "ball bearing" that sits inside the back hole of the pointed CONE, between the back of the CONE and the main threaded bolt that pushes the CONE against the individual ADAPTERS?
If so, can you specify the "ball bearing" size so I can locate and purchase one? Please advise, Thanks.Asked on 9/12/2012 by RRC from San Antonio, TX1 answer

No, I am sorry. The Yoke assembly within the Autocraft Double Flaring Tool Set (Part No. AC586/W80670) does not come with a ball bearing in it. The floating yoke type compressor is made of a steel, drop forging, and easily slips over the die block.
