Comments about BWD Distributor Rotor:
I bought this rotor along with other tune-up stuff for my father-in-law's S-10 pickup with a 4.3L V6. The box contained the rotor, screws for the rotor, and screws for the cap (which is a nice touch if you're only replacing the rotor). After replacing the original cap/rotor/plugs/wires that had 135K on them, the truck fired right up and ran great!

Comments about BWD Distributor Rotor:
Used both the cap and rotor from BWD just to get going on a cold, wet, winter day. Have used 2 of both within 7 months. 2nd one kept giving P0300 codes (misfire). Changed back to AC Delco and Suburban runs great again. GM's HEI just do not work with aftermarkets well.

Comments about BWD Distributor Rotor:
So far I have seen no improvement in performance, but I also know it takes a while for the computer to readjust to changes. The contact point that touches the contact points for the plug wires seemed a bit shorter in this rotor compared to the original, though I did not measure it.
Comments about BWD Distributor Rotor:
Installed a BWD cap and rotor on a 1999 Chevy Astro 4.3 AWD along with new plugs and wires from other manufacturers. Both parts fit perfectly and engine ran just fine. Unfortunately less than 3,000 miles later the engine quit on a busy highway while towing a boat. A small hole had burned through the rotor causing the spark to short out to the distributor shaft. The cap also was severely burned due to arching. Advance Auto Parts offered to replace the parts under warranty. Decided to upgrade to AC Delco parts and cannot recommend these BWD components. Plan to contact BWD engineers to alert them to the substandard quality of these parts.

Comments about BWD Distributor Rotor:
Mother-in-law insisted she needed a new distributor cap, so I got this cap & rotor.
The qulaity seems good and I haven't heard any more complaints from her.(apparently she was having problems getting the blazer started in wet weather.)

Comments about BWD Distributor Rotor:
Replaced ROTOR(D236Z) and CAP(C280Z), both listed as direct replacements for 2003/Chev/Blazer/4.3/etc.
Terrible noise!!! Disassembled and found interference between top radial gussets and transfer electrodes. What a waste of time.
Yes it was done correctly.
