I purchased this catalytic converter b/c my vehicle failed the state emmisions test. I had a certified mechanic install it and VOILA! I passed the test!

would have been nice to have come with bolts as the old bolts were too short , holes were a differenty size but all in all part seems too be very good and lined up with no problem

Easy to install, make sure you buy the gaskets and replacement bolts if you have to cut them or rusted out. Advance doesnt sell the direct replacement bolts. Honda wanted like 17$ a bolt, buy generic

I was told by my mechanic that anything but an OE Honda Cat may not work on my 98 Accord EX. I opted to buy this cat instead of paying over $500 for the cat at Honda. I took my chances but this cat worked perfectly. I also purchased the Walker res pipe and muffler. Overall a good economical choice.

Installed this over a year ago with a new O2 sensor and bolts. I replaced both gaskets with this converter, this bolted right up and has been working without any problems for over 10,000 miles and 1.5 years. Finally got a chance to come back and write a review. All you need to replace the existing unit is a Dremel to cut off the old rusted bolts and a hammer to break the rusted bond at the flange joints.

Fit well. To save time, make sure you get the two gaskets and studs (if your original studs work, take the purchased ones back)
