Comments about Peak Diesel Exhaust Fluid:
Have used only peak diesel exhaust fluid since new with no problems.Over 24000 miles on truck, mostly towing 13000 pound trailer and product lasts longer than G.M.C. states average usage. Packaging is convenient size and it comes with a built in pour spout which helps as urea fluid is caustic and will damage paint if spilled under hood so care should be taken when pouring and any spills should be cleaned off immediately. Product is required on all newer diesel trucks and truck will automatically slow down when low on fluid. Peaks product has never given me an issue and is a great value.

Comments about Peak Diesel Exhaust Fluid:
Remove plastic container from box - make sure spout is securely on - use small step ladder to gain height to facilitate pouring - don't rest spout against opening or put weight on spout as it can come off relatively easy. Thoroughly rinse with water if you spill fluid.

CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Diesel exhaust fluid is one of the key elements of the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) process used by most medium and heavy-duty engine builders to meet EPA 2010 regulations. DEF(Diesel exhaust fluid) is a nontoxic solution of 67.5% purified water and 32.5% ultra pure automotive grade urea. DEF is not a fuel or fuel additive. Instead, when injected into the exhaust stream and passed over a catalyst, DEF helps convert NOx into nitrogen gas and water vapor – two harmless and natural components of the air we breathe. DEF is stable, colorless and odorless, and meets ISO Standards 22241 for purity and composition and is an American Petroleum Institute (API) certified diesel exhaust fluid. These are the highest quality and safety standards in place to ensure optimum SCR performance. Making sure you do not run out of DEF in a SCR equipped truck is simple – watch the Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) gauge, which is part of the diesel fuel gauge, for when it is time to refill. DEF is stored in a dedicated tank next to the fuel tank on the driver's side. The tanks range in size from 6 to 23 gallons depending on the truck's application. The DEF tank fill opening is designed to accommodate a DEF fill nozzle to ensure only DEF is put into the tank. A diesel fuel nozzle will not fit into the DEF tank opening. For any further assistance, please visit your nearest Advance Auto store or call us directly at 1-877-ADVANCE (238-2623) and one of our representative there would be more than happy to assist you.Q:
