It's another government mandate created by people who know of little to nothing about everything... It's basically a CHEMICAL that makes the little puffy cloud of smoke that comes out of your tailpipe, which is merely dust and dirt, appear as a clear puffy cloud. Diesel engines are already emissions exempt, which proves this new movement by the EPA to be yet another ridiculous shake down. If they rid our diesel v8's of all the EPA nonsense we would all be getting 50mpg, minimum.

An EPA-mandated exhaust stream injected fluid to neutralize the exhaust emissions. It is a requirement in 011 and beyond passenger cars and trucks equipped with diesel engines.
