05 Chevy 1500 Silverado Z71. Not sure what to make of these pads yet. They were installed 6/16. On 6/21 It was 100F out. After I stopped hard in heavy traffic the pedal got soft and the pads were smoking. The surface of the rotors turned blue. I had tried to bed them in after installation and drove the truck in light traffic for 5 days before this happened.They should have been fully broken in by then. The pedal came back and the blue is gone from the rotors now. It also seems to stop very well now. Not sure yet. I'll inspect at 500 miles and see what everything looks like. I may go with Raybestos or Hawk, if I need to.

The item indicated that they fit front or rear 2005 Chevy Suburban Disc Brakes. Did not fit the rear caliper bracket on my Suburban. Make sure you verify with sales associate at store prior to purchasing.

Replaced pads and rotors on 2006 Suburban. Gold pads came with anti-squeak pad installed on backs. Seems to fit great and work like a charm, especially with new Wearever rotors. Not sure why the fronts are ceramic and rears are semi-metallic. still improvement over old pads with 126K miles.

Perfect fit on 2002 (1500, 4WD) Avalanche with 268K miles. A few simple hand tools required a world of differnce in the stopping power and brakeing response. Smooth stopping again!

Very reasonably priced for the price minded consumer. Great stopping distance with no vibration or noise. These replacement pads and rotors were a breeze to install and can be installed easily by the do it yourselfer in the back yard.They seem to be of great quality for the price and they are well machined and balanced.I believe I found the best quality pads and rotors for my Chevrolet Silverado pick-up for the price and look forward to great performance and reliability throughout the life of the parts. Ceramic brake pads last longer than semi-metallic. They can take slightly more abuse. They leave minimal brake dust, and the dust that is left is less noticeable-a nice complement to chrome and alloy wheels. Ceramic brakes need to warm up a little before they attain the grip of semi-metallic pads. Semi-metallic brake pads have better grip than ceramic when cold. Brake dust is much more apparent in semi-metallic brake pads.
