Comments about Dorman - OE Solutions Condenser Fan Assembly, Right:
I bought this condenser fan as a replacement for the original which failed after 133k miles. This is an exact replacement for the original - the power connector is the same (mine came with an unnecessary adapter on the power plug - the adapter was easily removed) and there are even pre-drilled holes for cable holders that snap into the fan shroud. The holes in the shroud lined up perfectly with the bolt holes on the truck and with the bolt holes in the condenser. This part can be installed without evacuating the AC system. There is a great video on youtube showing exactly how to do this replacement. For me it was about a 90 minute job, but if you pay close attention to the video and comments (and don't make the mistakes I did) you could probably cut that in half.

Comments about Dorman - OE Solutions Condenser Fan Assembly, Right:
This part is not easy to install by design. If you don't know to cut off a piece, then you'll end up trying to D/C the freon line, which is hard to do with the right tools and illegal to do without them. I highly recommend watching a YouTube video showing how to install this part if you've never done it before.

CUSTOMER CARE
A:
The condenser fan should be the possible cause of the problem. However, I would suggest taking your vehicle to a certified mechanic for a proper diagnosis before buying and having parts installed that may not (solve/be) the problem.Q:
2004 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi auto ac. Ac blows cold when truck is moving but at stop or idle blows warm to hot air, could the problem be a bad ac condenser fan?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Well it is the AC Condenser Fan which is the small fan closest to the fuse box by the main cooling fan. This fan is needed to run to keep the AC Condenser cool. What happens is while you are driving the air from the road keeps the condenser cool, but when sitting still the condenser gets hot and the ac starts to blow hot air.Q:
Would you have to recharge the ac system after replacing this part. Is it a easy installation?2 answers
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
No you shouldn't have to recharge the A/C system after installing this part.A:
I have done this with a junk yard part and yes you will have to recharge the ac system if you choose not to cut the part where the ac line goes through the part I choose not to cut the part and it was very easy even the recharge was simple
