This product was supposed to take 30-60 mins. Depending on skill level. It took three hours due to Curt not leaving any wiggle room between the mounting brackets.(was 1/8" longer too costly for Curt) It had to go in percisely and even them you needed a jack to finess it.

Holes did not line up with those on frame. Also had to spend more than cost of hitch drilling out one of the bolts after it snapped off in frame.

The hitch fit tight so I had to use a rubber hammer to tap it in place. Start one end bolt first don't tighten ,then your middle bolts. lined up nice. Did by myself.

I was so so so suprised at how easy it was to install this hitch.After taking good care to clean out the factory threaded bolt holes to make sure that i would not strip out the threads when i bolted this puppy on. I will say that it fit perfectly! No need to modify any holes to allow for all holes to line up. The instructions were very helpful. I used them as a guid even though i would have had NO problem accomplishing thiswith out them! All hardware was securly taped to the hitch, which was great ,because the box blew out and all of the hardware would have been lost for sure.I will say that it came very quickly.In just two days! I Would tell every one to buy from you Guys...Sincerely Jeff

I receieved this within a week. Came packaged fine. All hardware and instructions included. Installed on a 2012 Equinox in less than 30 minutes. All I needed was a jack and a socket wrench. All welds seem fine and it was really well made.

I saw some reviews stating the install was tricky. My method, which seemed to work, hold it in place with one bolt on either side, then fully install two center bolts, then go back and install and tighten up bolts on sides of hitch. Nice product, heavy duty, well made, well worth it. Would buy again!
