Comments about Walker Catalytic Converter - ULTRA Direct Fit:
My 2000 Sonoma was throwing a P0420 code, after changing the oxygen sensor, I knew it was the catalytic converter, this one is easy just bolts on. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars, it's that you have to get your own bolts, because it does not come with any, and the front part that connects to the front pipe, it was not perfect fit in the flange. I had to put an extra half exhaust gasket so there would not be an exhaust leak.

Comments about Walker Catalytic Converter - ULTRA Direct Fit:
Had to modify slightly, One end had pipe extending through the flange...Had to cut off about 1/8 inch of excess pipe which would have interfered with the gasket. On the other end the flange was not aligned properly such that the bottom of the triangle was at the Five O'clock position which would have had the converter hanging lopsided. I had to cut the flange off and re-weld it on at the Six O'clock position so that it would hang level and have both flanges mate up to the rest of the exhaust system. Bottom line is Yes I would recommend this, Keeping in mind that if you are doing this type of work yourself, you need to be able to handle minor problems like this.

Comments about Walker Catalytic Converter - ULTRA Direct Fit:
The cat converter was a direct fit as advertised. Easy installation. OBD code indicated bad converter on my truck. Purchased new converter, installed it, drove it about 100 miles, and computer cleared OBD code. Good product!

Comments about Walker Catalytic Converter - ULTRA Direct Fit:
The only issue with the product is that it doesn't come with any hardware. The original catalytic converter has studs welded to it which you can not reuse. So after a trip to the hardware store it was good to go.
