Cleaned out my idle control ports easily. I also used it to clean out my intake on a different vehicle. It does pretty well on "gunk".

Does what it needs to do. Cleans the grim off the TB and other intake parts. Just don't spray it on the MAF. Use the MAF cleaner, as its safe to use on electronics. Nothing bad about it other than it best to be sprayed strait up. Upside down will have problems spraying and sideways is acceptable.

This product seems to disolve carbon deposits better than most brands. Some of the "throttle body safe" seem to have a hard time dissolving carbon. Not this one, it works well.
A great product for home or shop.

I have an 05 Equinox with 170k miles that had a rough idle and sometimes didn't want turn over when starting. Used this product and it seems to have solved my issues. Easy to use and I had instant results. Definitely recommend.

Yes, this Valvoline Carb and Throttle Body Cleaner - part# 602333 should work fine on your 2005 Ford Focus ZX3 SE. With the engine off, disconnect the air duct from the throttle body. Spray the throttle plate and inside throttle body with Valvoline Carb and Throttle Body Cleaner. Open throttle plate and clean sealing area. Wipe dry with a soft cloth. Reattach air duct. For large open areas, simply hold can upright 4-6 inches from part to be cleaned and spray. I think the question refers to some TB's having a protective coating from the manufacturer and whether this harms that coating. I'd go with the CRC brand as I have never had issues with their product (specifically TB cleaner) and my G35 coupe.
