It is listed as correct for a 96 GMC Jimmy, but would not work for my vehicle. This is a quarter turn style cap, and my Jimmy uses a screw in style cap. I returned it and purchased the cap listed for the 95 Jimmy and it works fine. I went to the manufactures web site and when putting in the vehicle information was given this same cap info. When I changed to the VIN number instead of the vehicle information, it returned the information for the cap that is listed for a 95 Jimmy, but still defined the model as 96.??? It's a gas cap, so if it fit it would have been fine.

Bought this to combat a persistent P0440 EVAP code on 2002 Blazer. Replaced a deteriorated vacuum hose at the same time, so I'm not sure of the reason... but the code hasn't come back in 800 miles. Gas cap is exactly like the original.

Gas cap is a improper fit. As soon as cap was installed the check engine light appeared on the cars computer. Had to use a razor blade to whittle down the lip so cap would seal flush around filler neck.Once that was accomplished the cap fit flush on the seal.

2005 Chevy Blazer original gas cap completely wore out and would not stay on at all. Check engine light came on. Have only had it on for one day and the light is still on. That's OK it will go off within a few days or another fill-up.
