      With reference to your query on BWD Canister Purge Solenoid part# CP214, the canister purge solenoid on your 1998 Grand Prix GTP should be located in the engine compartment, right next to the EGR valve and the vent is under the vehicle near the fuel tank.       On the top of the throttle body there is 2 small vacuum lines that leads down behind the engine, follow these and they will lead to the canister solenoid on your Saturn ion-3.
