Installation for my Expedition was very easy using existing holes. The supplied hardware looked weak at first but seems to be up to the task of holding the bugflector tight. I thought this design may be distracting because it stands a little higher than the cheaper version but that has not been the case. It is barely visible from the drivers seat and seems to be doing the job of keeping my windshield cleaner. I did note some minor scratches when removed from the box and there was one plastic screw missing from the hardware kit. I simply used a stainless screw I already had.

I bought this at the same time I bought ventshades for my windows on my 01 supercrew f150. The dark tint on the bug deflector matches perfect with the window vent shades. Install was a breeze as it comes with hardware and litterally takes 5-10 minutes to install. Offers protection to the hood from rocks and other road grime. I would definetely recommend this product to a friend. After 6 months and nearly 10,000 miles of use, the bug deflector still looks brand new. Well worth the money.
