The product was overhaul great. The only problem I noticed after the fact is it was an open box that someone had installed and returned. There was some deep marks where someone hit it with a hammer and I had to file off the landing surface. I think the associate behind the counter intentionally put that one on the bottom so I would not see it until I went to use it. Once I saw it, I had to install it as I already had the car dismantled. Once complete, I took the test drive and the brakes worked fine. I did an entire brake job on the front and back. No squeling and good stopping.

Anybody with some mechanical background and knowledge of how to use tools could install these. The only special tools needed would be metric wrenches and maybe a c-clamp to push in the caliper piston to make room for the new pads on the new rotor.

You should only need wrenches, maybe a ratchet and socket set, and possibly screw drivers.

                          • A:

You'll also need a C Clamp to depress the caliper piston. Either that or get yourself a piston depression tool. Most auto parts stores have them now and they go for 5 - 10 dollars. Be sure to pop the cap on the master cylinder in the engine compartment before you do so you don't create back pressure in the brake lines. Wait to fill the master cylinder (if needed) until after you've replaced the pads as depressing the piston will push the fluid back to the master cylinder.
