I bought this product to run my boat motor off of. The previous battery, which was a different brand, didnt have nearly enough cranking amps and I would get one good start out of it then it would start getting weak before i had to charge it again. This batter has plenty of cold cranking amps to get the job done, holds a charge very well, and charges very quickly should it even need one. The only thing that is not "ideal" about this battery is that it is a little bulky and a little heavy, comparitively, but that does not make this product receive less than 5 stars. Even though it is a little pricy, it is well worth the money.

Whenever I buy a battery, if I haven't already, I replace it with an Optima. More expensive? Definitely. But worth it in increased performance, realiability and service life. These things typically last me twice as long as standard batts. Just bite the bullet and spend the money, because, then you can pretty much forget about it, literally for years.

This Optima Batteries BlueTop; Deep Cycle Battery, Group Size 31, 900 CCA - part# D31M has 2 year free replacement as warranty. Free Replacement Period begins the day of purchase and expires at the end of the Free Replacement Period printed on your original sales receipt. This period does not renew when the battery is replaced during the Free Replacement Period. If the battery becomes defective after the Free Replacement Period and prior to the end of the warranty period, the warranty benefit will be prorated and can either be credited toward the purchase of a new battery or refunded at our option. The proration amount shall be determined by dividing the purchase price by the number of months of the warranty period, then multiplying the result by the months remaining in the warranty period. Partial months are rounded to the nearest whole month. Installation of an automotive battery in any other type of vehicle or equipment voids your warranty.
