Comments about MSD Ignition Blaster 2 Coil - High Performance:
First of all, examine the coil carefully before leaving the store. Unfortunately,my coil was slightly damaged so I returned the original for a refund, but purchased another locally. I've bought two, the first one used on a project ride-95 Geo Tracker with a Chevy 4.3 V6 swap. The Blaster2 made all the difference in the world on this ride. Second Blaster 2 I purchased was used on an 87 Toyota SR5 Turbo pickup to replace a bad oem coil, it worked great & this was the only part I replaced. Got 5 more MPG's on the last 2 tanks of gas and there is a noticable increase in acceleration. Seriously considering replacing the other ignition parts with MSD parts to increase the power even more. Also, compared to OEM coil/ I saved over $60 buying the MSD from Advance. Plus, I saved even more by ordering on-line using one of the promo codes & picking it up @ my local store and didn't have to wait for delivery..

Comments about MSD Ignition Blaster 2 Coil - High Performance:
I installed this coil about 2 months ago, replacing an older MSD coil that I had lost oil and was getting VERY hot. It performs better than the old coil did when it was working properly, and stays fairly cool. I've bought the cheapo type coil before, and can say that there is a big noticeable different in spending the extra $25 for this coil. I bought a cheap coil before buying this one, and there was probably about a second difference in 0-60 time. With the MSD Blaster 2 coil, my 1973 Ford 460 engine will pull my 5400 pound pickup 0-60 in under 7 seconds. If I remember correctly, MSD rates the Blaster 2 coil at 45,000-50,000 volts.

Comments about MSD Ignition Blaster 2 Coil - High Performance:
I started to tighten down the nut on the terminal and the stud broke in half...not at the base...half way down the stud. I did not over tighten it and it was not cross threaded. I was shocked...no pun intended. MSD products are not what they used to be.
