I think I was expecting more. Maybe needs a professional polishing kit to get optimum results. I've used less expensive products and had the same result without the streaking.

This product is not for the purist!!! It is for the ordinary guy like me! It hides/removes most minor scratches/blemishes. The vehicle looks great when done. It is a lot of hard work, but I think it is worth it! I wil buy it again. There is enough for me to do a CTS twice. Be sure and wear latex gloves to protect your hands from the black dye.

I also found the spray detailer to be a mess and waste of time. As for the cleaner wax and polish wax in the kit, I think this stuff worked great. I have a 2010 MKZ and I was a little concerned that it would reduce the metallic effect in my tuxedo black(metallic black) paint. After I used it, I couldn't be happier. The paint pops better than ever now and the metallic really stands out. I had a few fine scratches and swirls in my paint that have virtually disappeared.

This product works great but it takes forever to do and is terribly messy. Gloves and quality microfiber towels are an absolute must - I work in sales and it ruined my fingernails for a week. It shines your black car so well you will see dings and scratches you've never seen before (whether that is a good thing is up to you).

I would buy again, but I seriously wonder whether this product is worth it - it literally took me an entire day to do my 2009 Fusion by hand. And then, living in Ohio, it rained all over it 3 days later and ruined it.

If you can get this product for the right price, I don't think you'll find a better wax and finish. I just think you'll still need something you can do in less than 6 hours.

I used this on my black 2000 Dodge Ram (quad cab). The job took about 4-5 hours between the washing/drying/application. The truck had many small scratches on it, and spots where the paint was becoming dull. After a few hours with this product, it looks as close to brand new as it ever will. It actually created a blinding light from down the road when the sun reflected off of it. Yes, this product requires a lot of elbow grease, but I don't consider that a fault. Nothing is "free" in this life. If you don't like that fact or don't have it in you, then hire someone. I had a lot of satisfaction though after finishing the job. With that being said, I don't see me doing this again for quite a while..free Saturdays are too few and far between.
This was a great product. Instructions were easy to follow..If I could improve it just a bit, maybe instructions on scratch removal. Either with what's in the box or referring the purchaser to another product. I figured it out, but it would have been nice..

First off, it does leave a nice shine, but, I haven't found it to remove light scratches. I will say, however, the cleaner wax portion does do a good job of preparing a nice slick surface for the wax, though it has a scent amazingly similar to Cpt. Morgan's "Tattoo". Not overwhleming, but it's noticeable.

I ended up using sealer wax on top of the final product and if it's in a semi shaded area, it looks like glass. I'm sure it provided a significant protective barrier and in the rain, the water just doesn't stick at all. I'm very happy with the results, but in reality, this is not a fix-all for some problems, though it will mask enough to be very happy with the results.

I just recently purchased a used suv from a dealer. We love the vehicle but it did have some scratches and swirl marks from the previous owner trying to wax the car. It is our first black vehicle we have ever owned. (maybe a mistake, oh well). The turtle wax Black Box was a great purchase for us. It was a little time consuming to apply and messy, but was fairly easy to apply wax and take off. But enough said about the cons.. The pros far out weigh the cons. Bottom line it took 98% of all inperfections out of the paint and left a FANTISTIC shine!!!! WOW-WOW-WOW-WOW-WOW-WOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This stuff works absolutely amazing. Makes car look better than new! It is a lot of work, but it is worth the results. Expect to spend 4 or so hours to do the job properly.
