Comments about Torin Big Red 3-Ton Jack Stands:
The Big red version of the jack stands are one of the best stands that i have been able to find in the automotive world.. They are light and easy to put away,I am currently using a pair of Big Red Jack stands to hold up my GMC yukon at y house while we replace the front end suspension... After I am done with them i just have to wash them down with some detergent and they shine red like new again... putting them away is an easy process as they just need to slide into one another... They also have a quick release lever on the side of the jack witch makes it easy to lower the stand... I would recommend these stands to anyone working on their vehicles....

These are not jacks, these are jack stands. I would recommend two of these and a 1.5-2 ton jack.Q:

CUSTOMER CARE
A:
As it states in the Product Features it is a double locking stand.Q:
I need to drop my automatic Trans. to replace Leakey freeze plug on a 98 Camaro with a 3.8 V6. So tomorrow I need to buy something to lift my car with, what should I use jack stands or ramp?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Either one will work. In my opinion I would use the jack stands because they take up less room than the ramps and give you more room to position yourself under the vehicle.
