Comments about Autocraft Battery Post Shims:
I bought a new car battery but apparently, the new batteries have different diameter posts than the old. The battery cables kept slipping off the posts randomly and the car would not start. I was told to replace the battery cables but not even the new cables fit so I searched and came across these shims. They work great and solved my problems.
Comments about Autocraft Battery Post Shims:
Replaced battery in '07 Nissan Xterra, and had connection issues (single click when attempting to start the vehicle.) Diagnosed issue as a loose negative battery terminal connection, but couldn't tighten the clamp any further. Installed this shim, flared clamp out with a screwdriver, and tightened down hard. Now the clamp won't wiggle at all, and the connection is better than it ever was. This thing was just the ticket.
