MOOG Problem Solver products incorporate proven design and engineering features to ensure like new steering, ease of installation and longer life. MOOG is the preferred steering and suspension parts brand of professional technicians and NASCAR Crew Chiefs.

Product Features:
  • Problem Solver® powdered metal gusher bearing design enables grease to flow through the bearing to the stud for reduced friction and enhanced strength and stability.
  • Problem Solver® patented cover plate design allows for tighter tolerances vs traditional cover plate designs, providing a more durable and extended life part.
  • Exclusive cover plate protects against contaminants leaking into the bearing surface.
  • MOOG® engineered steel composition results in a stronger component. Full ball metal stud provides 360 degrees of smooth, consistent, rotational movement resulting in more responsive steering.
  • An enlarged ball joint receptacle in the lower control arm can cause a loose ball joint fit. MOOG® Problem Solver® design includes an oversized housing for a more secure fit.
  • Greaseable socket design allows new lubricant to flush contaminants from the assembly, reducing corrosion and wear.

I purchased two Moog ball joints for my 2001 Ford F-150. The looked more heavy duity than stock so I was pleased at this point. Upon installing I had issues with the greese fitting. The first had threads too long preventing it from tightining flush with the ball joint. Then when I inspected the second I discovered that the ball joint had no threading at all. I returned both to my local store for a refund.

Do each side or you will have alignment problems plus it will still sqeak. If one side is toasted the other side will be also. I paid only $13.00 each for both ($26.00 total) and they are a new better design with grease fittings.

I need a lower ball joint for it. Will this fit it? I was wondering if you sell it as a full assy and not just the joint it self. Thanks.
