incorrect parts inside box
1999 Suburban. Box looked like it had been opened before. Contents of box included 2 filter seals instead of the 1 as desribed and filter was not sealed in a plastic bag. Removed old...Read complete review
1999 Suburban. Box looked like it had been opened before. Contents of box included 2 filter seals instead of the 1 as desribed and filter was not sealed in a plastic bag. Removed old seal which can be quite difficult only to find that that both seals in box were too big. Had to purchase another filter kit just to get the correct seal as Advance just doesnt carry the seal and the store was closing on Sunday night. Installation straighforward after that. The filter, while dimensionally the same as the factory filter, contained much thinner filter media. I'm definately going back to AC Delco next change.

I used this product on my 1997 Chevy B1500 full size conversion van. Super easy install. My 14 year old stepson was able to completely install this with only my supervision more for my peace of mind rather than difficulty. Have no complains about product. I have bought this brand of brakes before and will continue to buy this brand as long as I need to purchase replacement parts for all my vehicles. As well as recommend this brand of products to friend, family members and coworkers.

The metal ring that locks the filter into the transmission housing did not fit tightly into the housing as it should have. This causes the filter not to lock in properly and suck air around the metal ring. Ended up having to get a different filter to complete the job.

I purchased this transmission filter (fk-252) in store for my 94 chevy k1500 5.7L. The filter did not come with the filter gasket (small one) and the store personnel said the other two they had in stock were missing the gasket as well - they were not able to order the gasket specifically.
