Comments about Dayco No Slack Automatic Belt Tensioner, Light Duty:
In the Saturn this is a tough install, but not impossible. Do it right and remove ALL of the plastic shields behind the right front wheel. Breaking loose the engine mount bolts is tough, but not so bad as other cars on which I've worked (I'm looking at you, Ford Taurus). All-in-all not a tough job, just an annoying one.

Comments about Dayco No Slack Automatic Belt Tensioner, Light Duty:
i have a 2001 saturn sl2 1.9 dohc. my belt tensioner is only a year old, the spring in it is too soft, while in drive or reverse with a.c. running, sometimes in park it does it too. the tensioner rattles, real noisy, its been getting worse. they need to put a stiffer spring in them. i need to find one somewhere of better quality until then.

Installed on son's 95 Saturn coupe to eliminate belt squeal. Worked. Car was taken on a 1200+ mile trip shortly after replacement with no problems.

Comments about Dayco No Slack Automatic Belt Tensioner, Light Duty:
At least the back/base of the tensioner is smaller than the stock one, so it's easier to slither the part in to where it belongs.
This smaller size comes at the expense of build quality. I had one of these come apart at the pivot so the pulley was dragging sideways. Save your receipt.
