I have an old Accord that just wasn't blowing the cold air anymore. I was about to take it in for the $100 AC check (and that doesn't include the freon) when I saw this product. Very easy to use, took 5 minutes and for the last 2 weeks I'm amazed how cold the AC is now. If everything works fine but just low on freon then this is for you. If you do have a leak this product will at least let you know with the easy to see uv dye.

Used in 1st car that was blowing warm air, installed one small can plus 1/2 large can.Now car blows cold air,but guage never went above 35 PSI(90 degree outside temp,so pressure should have been 50-55 PSI).Used in 2nd car that was blowing cold air, just wanted to top off system.Guage never went above 35 PSI(again 90 degrees out,did both cars at the same time and at that outside temp the pressure should have been 50-55 PSI.).Used 1 small can and 1/2 of large can.Since pressure never went above 35 PSI in either car,I was beginning to have doubts about the guage.Checked the 2nd car the day after with the guage from another company and it went off the scale!!!It pegged out well over 120 PSI!!!I didn't run the A/C after installing the product because I didn't want to damage anything.Glad I didn't!!!The stuff in the can seems to be OK,but the guage is garbage!!!!

Comments about Interdynamics Arctic Freeze Ultra Synthetic R-134a Recharge Kit with UV Dye and Oil:
My AC compressor was short cycling and then no cycling. Added a can of refrig, comp stated to cycle and air got cold. Added 2 nd can of refrig and comp cycled longer and air was colder.
Its been 2 weeks and all is holding and AC is working great.
I did research on the web and YouTube as to my problem. Gave this fix a try - I wanted a kit with AC gauge and dye to determine any leaks. This worked very well.

Comments about Interdynamics Arctic Freeze Ultra Synthetic R-134a Recharge Kit with UV Dye and Oil:
The kit was very easy to use and seems to have sealed the leak in my A/C system. The gauge also seemed to be fairly accurate as the compressor kicked on just as the reading reached the low side of the green portion of the pressure indicator.
The kit is very easy to connect to your A/C system and the quick connect coupler will only hook fit on the appropriate fitting. You simply connect the can to the dispenser, clip the quick connect coupler to your A/C system and pull the trigger to dispense. The black light pen to highlight the UV dye is a little cheesy/not very bright.

Comments about Interdynamics Arctic Freeze Ultra Synthetic R-134a Recharge Kit with UV Dye and Oil:
I was skeptical at first about doing a A/C recharge myself, but after reading the reviews I figured I would give it a try. I selected this kit because it include the sealant and the UV dye to detect leaks. The gauge does not work well. When I first put on the hose it displayed a little over 25 psi. After charging it for a bit the gauge didn't move much; however, the A/C system is now putting out cold air as promised. This was used on a 2003 V6 VW Passat, but should work on any A/C system.

Comments about Interdynamics Arctic Freeze Ultra Synthetic R-134a Recharge Kit with UV Dye and Oil:
Expensive and cheap materials, bought 2 and both leaked freon out of the handle before I could even get thew A/C to get charged. Gauge pressure faulty, if you really want to fix your A/C invest in a set of A/C gauges and hoses. May be a cheap fix for some people but be carful and don't overcharge. Can't trust the gauge on this set so you are taking a big chance.

Comments about Interdynamics Arctic Freeze Ultra Synthetic R-134a Recharge Kit with UV Dye and Oil:
I used this kit in a 2001 Infiniti I30. Using the included directions, I added the refrigerant. The gauge never went past 30psi. After reading the review about the gauge not functioning correctly, I went back to AAP and purchased another gauge as I don't know anyone with a gauge that would work. The reading on the new gauge was about 10 psi higher than the included gauge with this product. I confirmed the differing readings with my other vehicle.

Used the guage to charge the system - everything was going well, but all of a sudden the gauge spiked to the red section and now the system is overcharged - how do I correct this? everyone is right - don't trust the gauge!1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
The proper way to correct an overcharge is to recover the entire charge, evacuate the system, recharge the correct amount and check for leaks. However, It is advised that a Section 609 of EPA Standards mechanic be the only one to perform anything with that type of system [r12] as well as r134a due to its effects on the environment. I would suggest taking your vehicle to a certified A/C mechanic for a proper diagnosis.Q:

where do I hook my unit up to recharge my 2008 Impala?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
First you need to find the low side inlet valve. It will have a black or chrome valve cover that you just screw off. You will see two close to each other, the one you are looking for is the large one. Be sure the hose has a gauge on it as overfilling is not a good thing, you could burst the system. Then you turn the air on Max ac and hook up the hose to the valve you found earlier.Q:
