I tested my closed radiator system and it was extremely good and tested my antifreeze that I mixed my self in a 2 gallon gas can and tested still good it had been sitting all winter outside and thought the antifreeze had completely evaporated! Thank You it worked good!

I woked in an oil/lube shop for over two years and we had these type of coolant testers but I was like you. I could never get an accurate reading so I personally stopped using them. There are other testers that work alot better than this one.Answered on 12/14/2010 by Mike the Auto Parts Master from AAP
