Comments about Peak Antifreeze and Coolant (1 Gallon):
Always buy the 100% antifreeze and mix yourself,
use distilled water @ a 50/50 mix and your cooling system will last longer, IMHO.

Comments about Peak Antifreeze and Coolant (1 Gallon):
Great product, been around for years. Its affordable, dependable and does its job. I buy the 1 gallon concentrate and dilute it myself, its much more cost effective that way. An added bonus is Peak usually offers rebates to sweeten the deal even more.
I personally avoid newer cars with their unreliability and excessive technology and 'convenience'. Coolant confusion is but one of their shortcomings. My '96 F150 being the newest vehicle i own, theres no question as to what to use.
Peak works great for top-offs, total flush and fills, keeps them motors cool and doesn't freeze. No problems.

i have been looking for a good antifreeze for my Brother in laws 1911 cadillac we found out the newer long life antifreeze eats the packing on vintage autos. it developed a leak in the water pump shaft when i dissassembled it i found the packing on the shaft turned to slime. after some internet research and an email to peak i found this was a safe alternative. kudos to peak for making this antifreeze for us vintage car lovers. i also found out this is what i need to use in my 82 ford f150 it is recomended for all cars built before 1989

Comments about Peak Antifreeze and Coolant (1 Gallon):
It is getting harder to find conventional green coolant these days, thankfully Peak is still available.
I prefer to use proven and reliable ethylene glycol coolant, I'd rather flush and replace every 30,000 miles than risk a Dex-cool disaster.

It's coolant. It works. Not much else I can say.

Comments about Peak Antifreeze and Coolant (1 Gallon):
There are many "green" coolants but they are all formulated to be "long-life" and that means it could sludge up like they all do. I am glad that I can use this coolant even in my modern cars and just flush it ever 30K.
