Permatex Anti-Seize Lubricant (1 oz)
A highly refined blend of aluminum, copper and graphite lubricants. Use during assembly to prevent galling, corrosion and seizing and to assure easy disassembly. Handles temperatures ranging from -60°F to 1600°F. The lubricant is salt, corrosion and moisture resistant and is ideal for marine use. Nonaerosol version meets Mil spec #907E. Aerosol - Level 3*.

well...i've been putting plugs in aluminum heads for over 25 yearsand have never used anti-seize and never had a problem before...but maybe i'm getting older (and hopefully wiser) so i decided to spend the couple bucks and get a tube to use...it applied just as you or i would have expected...but... i can't really tell you how well it performed until about 105,000 miles from now...i would anticipate good results.

You should be able to apply a little to the threads as well as some to the "stem" of the spark plug so that the spark plug wire boot does not get stuck on the spark plug.Answered on 3/18/2010 by Mike from AAP
