Comments about Arnott Industries Air Spring:
Easy to install, if you have access to a lift.Turn the commpressor off with the switch in the trunk. Raise the car, and remove the rear wheels. Using a small pry bar (just to make removal of the old bags easier) the bags come free of the axle. Pull the top clip, lower the bag assembly and disconnect the air line.
One hint before installing the new bags. Take compressed air, and an air blower and pop the new bags out so they are fully extended. This makes installation a lot easier.
Replace the O rings, hook the air line to the new bag and line it up. Install the top clip and then push the bottom of the bag assembly into the axle. When you have both bags installed, replace the wheels. Lower the vehicle so that the tires are touching ground, but the car is still supported by the lift.
Turn the compressor switch on, and start the car. Watch the rear start to lift and listen for the bags seating themselves into the axle. After you hear that, lower the lift fully.

Comments about Arnott Industries Air Spring:
Works great. I was suprised at how easy it installs. The ones in my 2002 linc towncar almost fell out on their own with a removal of 1 spring pin and unplugging the air/solenoid ctrl cable attached to it. Then this one installed just as easy. Just make sure the bottom metal fixture is seated properly before inflating. The cavity where it sits on mine had quite a bit of rust on it and the metal fixture needed to be tapped in to place a bit so it wouldnt slip off the support while driving. Great product and cheap, comes with a lifetime warranty, cant go wrong.

Comments about Arnott Industries Air Spring:
They sent me a used air spring and it was missing its o rings. I had to go to the store and reorder and return the used part. That was very annoying. Other wise the air springs work great.

A:
Yes, this part fits your 1992 Mercury Grand Marquis.Q:
I am considering buying AIRSPRING part#A-2105. Is this a direct replacement part or do I have to make modifications to make it fit? (The suspension is all original.) Also I see part# A-2220 is a heavy duty air spring. Is this a better product? Should I consider this one even though it is not for a Limo.1 answer
