A/C compressor. So far it is quieter than the GM replacement compressor. The compressor that was on the vehicle was noisy from the day it was installed.

Q:
The installation instructions say to fill the compressor with the correct amount and type of oil. The instructions also say that the unit is prefilled with PAG oil. The manufacturers service guide says to drain the unit first then if under 2.5 oz then refill to 2.5 oz if over 2.5 then fill with the amount that was drained. But the Toughone instruction say not to drain. Q:
What is the difference between this compressor and part T58942. Are the necessary O-rings included or do i need to order seal kit, part no 21000. Since it states that both compressors are compatable with R12 or 134a i assume they are without oil. Locals could not answear my questions.

I had to replace my AC system and after 1 year or so it locked up completely. When I turn it on, it throw's the belt off the pully. Do I need to buy the entire compressor with clutch or is it something more minor? All the hoses were replaced by the same company so they are ok. Would this compressor fix my problem?
