Q:
Description says plug and play, no splicing necessary. How is that possible when 1 end does not have a plug on it? Where is the splice to be made? Also when asked the dimensions of this cable it states it is 5 x 7 x 2 unknown how that is possible?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
We apologize for any confusion caused. The Dorman - OE Solutions ABS Sensor - Part No. 970-008 does come with plastic crimp type connectors and hence splicing is not required. Also the dimension that is mentioned as 5" x 7" x 2" on various websites is not the product's dimension but the package dimension. For any further assistance please feel free to call 1-877-238-2623 and one of our Parts Pros will gladly assist you with any questions or concerns you may have.Q:
The Wheel Speed Sensor on my 2001 Alero 3.4L has been changed 3 times and the TRAC OFF, ABS, and Service Engine lights keep coming on, the most recent was about 5000 miles ago. 3000 miles ago I changed the drive axles, brake rotors, and pads and the lights came on 2000 miles later. Any suggestions as to the potential cause? could it be the wiring harness and not the sensor itself?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Make sure the ABS sensor is set close to the toothed ring. If it is too far away it will trip codes. You will have to get the car scanned for codes. You will need to pull codes from the ECM, BCM and ABS modules. It would also be a wiring issue to the wheel speed sensors in the front wheels.Q:
i got the dignose results for my car, it said the left rear wheel speed sensor should be replaced, so which one should I buy?1 answer

do you need one for both right and left side of car,and how do you replace it1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
This part is for front left side.Q:
what exactly is the purpose for this does it have anything too do with making your calipers lock up if they are not functioning correctly1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
This is an ABS wheel speed sensor wiring harness. The ABS sensor reads the rotation of the ABS sensor ring as magnetic pulses -- the peaks have a strong magnetic pull and the valleys have a weak pull -- and send the magnetic pulse to the anti-lock brake system control module. The control module then converts the magnetic pulse to wheel speed.Q:
How long are the wires on the harness?1 answer
