Purolator PureONE Oil Filters are highly efficient
This means that most all contaminants that pass through a PureONE oil filter are captured in its exclusive Micronic media, helping to prevent engine damage. Each also comes equipped with a silicone anti-drainback valve that helps to protect against engine dry-start.
What types of contaminants are being filtered out?
Common contaminants - like dirt, metal shavings, bugs, and more - can kick up from the road and damage your engine if not protected. PureONE Oil Filters help keep these contaminants out of your engine.
It's all in the grip
Put away those filter wrenches. All PureONE oil filters feature specially textured paint that helps keep the filter from slipping when you're installing or removing it. So no matter at what angle you find yourself, you'll have a firm, textured grip. To top it off, the filter's PTFE-treated sealing gasket also makes for easy installation and removal.
Purolator PureONE oil filters should be replaced every 3,000 miles or three months depending on the driving conditions, or as specified by your vehicle's manufacturer.

The ONLY thing good about a Fram filter is the rough bottom to make it easier to remove, even with oily hands. The Pure One is also rough, and easy to remove. However, the material inside the filter does not fall apart like a Fram.
